“Ney Mello has got all the elements that I like to hear in is playing”

Any master often focusses his/her attention on other instruments as often as on his main instrument. That serves the purpose of musical development and technical expansion.
In this video, one can see a clear example of projection being taught to flute students. Most guitarists also are more or less severely lacking in true projection. It is often a major and unrecognized obstacle to their ascension into the level of mastery.
James Galway, and Pavarotti teaching what too many guitarists are missing....even if the Marshall stack  is at 10....or the trillion watt PA is on for the acoustic guitar...In guitar playing you won't cut if at the world class level if you cannot project with both your hands.
The trillion watt PA and the Marshall stack can only amplify what you give them with your hands. Too may guitarists don't give them much in terms of left and right hand articulation and projection... In my 2-DVD set- "Maximum Speed Picking with Ney Mello" I have a chapter specifically on that subject exclusively for the right hand!
